Reading note

Context filed with this release.

Ten Antwerp-dialect songs from the fairground, the beach, the street and the plastic chair that outlasts the night.

Dees Ploat Blèft Spele turns Antwerp street language into a record of overheated days, unwanted hands, failing systems, beach volleyball, hearsay, petty infractions, bumper-car courtship and the debris left after closing time. Garage punk, electro, cheap fairground machinery and a slower final comedown share the same local world: loud, observant, comic and never polished into folklore. The dialect is not decoration here. It is the instrument that decides what can be said, how hard it lands and whether anyone will admit they heard it.
